Funding to Make Your Heat Pump More Affordable
The Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan can help eligible homeowners across Scotland with the cost of moving to a more energy-efficient heating system.
Up to £15,000 may be available towards a heat pump, combining a grant of up to £7,500 with an interest-free loan of up to £7,500.
Homes that qualify for the rural uplift may be eligible for up to £16,500, including up to £9,000 in grant funding alongside the £7,500 interest-free loan.
Support may also be available for other energy-efficiency improvements to your home, including insulation.

Arrange your free home energy assessment with Green Heat
Contact us to arrange a home energy assessment to understand your property, your current heating system and what would be required for a heat pump installation.

Apply for your funding
Once the assessment is complete, you can apply for the available grant and loan funding through Home Energy Scotland. We’ll make sure you have the information you need from us.

Receive a funding offer
If your application is approved, you’ll receive a formal funding offer setting out the support available towards your installation.

Book your installation
Once your funding is confirmed, we’ll agree your installation date and take care of the next steps, from final system design through to installation and handover.
